A direct booking is a stay like any other, with its guest and its payments.
Depending on how you work, the guest pays straight away, sends a request you confirm, or simply gets in touch. You choose, and you can change your mind whenever you like.
Cards are collected by Stripe and the money goes to your account, not ours. Connecting your Stripe account takes a few minutes; without it your website still works, in enquiry mode.
The engine reads the calendar live: a night sold on Airbnb thirty seconds ago is no longer offered. That is what makes it safe to open direct booking without fearing you will sell the same night twice.
